The traditional model of lead-to-sales management takes all inbound prospects and places them into the CRM system for sales to follow up with. On many occasions, this individual is only beginning the research cycle, and would not respond favorably to a sales call.

It is this traditional model that causes industry experts to speculate that 80% of all inbound leads never have a meaningful conversation with a sales professional.

Pardot's Prospect Insight, a comprehensive marketing automation suite, provides a Marketing Pipeline where leads will be stored. The leads are scored, graded and nurtured until they are deemed sales ready, at which point they will be passed to the Sales Pipeline (CRM) as a lead.

I have been self employed for over 4yrs now. I started my business in Oct. 06. At that time I was just offering graphic design at photography which I was getting work. I did some flyers, website, brochures, Flash animation, and logos. I was making about three hundred a week which was about what I was making waiting tables.

At this point in the game I took any and all job that came my way. I got a internship with Larry Benet "The Connector" which was really cool. He show me how to network and I got to attend networking events for authors and network marketers all over the country. This where like workshops that lasted for 3 days.

I got my first office in Decatur in 06 too. HT Media, a cd duplication center. Man, I had a blast the two yrs I was there. We manufacture CDs, design CD covers, flyers, t-shirts, I did photography, and learn about the music business. We when to clubs like every night.

At that time I also starting working with a guy Kevin Deville. He had a idea using a retail ready album CD as a mixtape of music and the booklet as a magazine. The idea was really cool, but never caught on. We did have a lot fun learning about the music business and developing the Magazine. Plus, I got to meet a lot of people.

Later I tried to partner up with him to design a Digital CD magazine that people would use for the computer. I design two different version in .swf format. I thought it would take, it may still if I find funding for the project or a company to build it. The thing is print magazine will not go out of date. We all thought that people sign up to an online magazine. No that didn't work at all. Online magazines are not cool.

The Digital CD Magazine was really cool. When you insert the CD inside your computer, the auto run would pop up and start the application. The .swf file content was filled with videos, down loadable graphics, links to website, flash games, pictures and animated ads. Sounds cool uh?

Then I found a new idea! The way of the future. A music download card. Digimusicard show up on my desk. This was so cool, however their system wasn't. I just knew I could build a better system. So I did, Muzikcard.com. I took Sony's and Myspace music models to connect them together. Now, artist have a really cool secured system for their digital album. Artist download the music and pass them out at clubs, event, concerts, ect. The fan then takes the card read the direction which takes them to a website to access the music.

Everyone I have talk to love the loves Muzikcard, the way it works, looks, and its benefits . This project has taken over three years to build. I am still looking for funding for marketing and updates. The demo works and I have about 3000 cards on the street. Really, I want to sell the cards and have fun marketing for a cool artist. What I have learn about artist is that most don't understand it. I found that the general public in middle class use loves Muzikcards. Most, of them are computer and ipods users.

During this point I thought of another idea. I call it digifuncard. Its a social media marketing game! I want to market for the girls.

Finally, my company D.Peacock Studios has change so much. Over all we specialize in Social Media and web site design. My vision for the company is to give businesses the best web presence, period. I know social media like I know my computer. I have made 1000s of dollars with social media already so I know money is to be made. I am looking forward to be another millionaire form social media.

I plan to write another blog next week about how to design your personal profile and fan pages. Then link them together. I have a powerpoint on it already, but needs to be finalized soon. It will be available for download on SlideShare, accessible from Facebook and Linkedin.

Just what is going on right now.

WOW its so much fun learning how to run a business in today's economy. I haven't 100% figure it out yet, but when I may a million then I'll be an expert. I changed over my company to social media marketing about a month ago. I just want the relationship and then the money now. A lot of people are really looking into it. I also own a CD/DVD duplication company, plastic card company(vip, gold, membership,etc), and Muzikcard. Nothing I can't handle.

I join the chamber in Gwinnett back in March. So far, I must say its been great! I have met a lot of wonderful people who want success. The Chamber members really help me out a lot with networking, making friends, and real connections. I a so thankful for everything.

So I got Muzikcard done enough to where I can start selling it. I started a social media marketing campaign, call a lot of people, and gave out a lot of cards. However, I am still wanting a huge amount of sells. One order of 10000 cards would give me enough to upgrade the system, however 100000 cards would be better. Pray for me!

My marketing strategy is to target the DJs, have them buy/give a business plan using Muzikcard. Currently, I have been working with DJ Kutt Throat of Plug ENT Ilovemyplug.com for his own mixtape Muzikcard card. I feel confident that we should be complete with his project within the next few months. The CD/DVD Duplication business I started CDmediarun.com has made some cash. I really haven't market it that much. I just started running a myspace marketing campaign to the zip code area. I have a myspace and facebook just setting there. I need to give it a upgrade then start marketing. I have all the marketing Ps down and a lot of business/night clubs need cards which I can turnaround with in 48hrs. Good thing I am only focusing on the local area.

Today man companies are moving from a traditional marketing to a social media marketing to maximize the marketing dollar. Online social networks is a great avenue for developing an advertising and promotion campaign for a business product or service. All at an affordable rate. This way of promotion will cut a company's printed marketing cost, exposure cuts, and lead buyers to the website for purchase.

During a promotional campaign, a company may advertise using print, TV, and web media to get the message across to the general public. However, the mass advertising methods such as magazines, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, and direct mail is high in cost with a low return. Luckily today, social media gives companies a new avenues to market at a much cheaper cost with much more exposure rate, plus its can be track using view and commons.

This is done with by designing a social media marketing campaign that uses a social networks such as MySpace, YouTube, Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter. Each site is design for a reason must be use correctly. Out of all of these site, Youtube is the second largest search engine next to Google, but for video. However, Google loves MySpace Blogging thus making the blogging feature the best which always goes to the top of the search engine fast without using pinging this blog.

As far as marketing, I have personally found that Myspace is the best marketing tool. I know people who are using the social network to making money by selling products and services. All you have do to is add a Paypal button to your page and start collecting money. These businesses include graphic artist, music industry, book authors, t-shirts/clothes companies, and other businesses. Myspace allows a lot more features then other social networks and is the best for tracking who is doing what. One last common on Myspace. I know of people who have made millions using Myspace and Youtube. As of today, I don't know of anyone else who have made millions using other social networks.

As for using Facebook, I haven't seen any profit or benefit from it. There maybe, but it doesn't seem to give more ability to a marketer that is needed. Nor I have seen my posting on a Google search engine. Why, its a micro blogging system which is only good for quick exposure because of the RSS feeds that everyone is using. I do see the tagging system being beneficial if used correctly. But now Facebook if offering a new business feature that will be a great virile marketing. I do know that 30% of 50 yr old women are using Facebook which can be useful. Also, people using Facebook tend to be college educated and make $45,000+ a year. I will talk about the shift I am seeing with Facebook in another blog.

Twitter, ok this is just a social network that is best used with your cell phone and direct visitors to your blog. I do see a use for it directing followers to find out more about what your doing. Thats because I found myself clicking on the links then being directed to the blogs. Also, the older market seems to enjoy the simple design and use of the site.
